This weekend in my corner of the southern hemisphere (Melbourne, Australia) the the annual RACV Motorclassica is on. I visited yesterday, here's a few photos to share with you all. Please excuse my amateur photography skills.
Quote from my dad: "It's been a while since I've driven an E-type..." What?! Apparently it was a while ago.
In addition to the main show inside, there was a number of clubs outside with a wide selection of slightly less perfect vehcicles.
My dad told me he was seriously considering buying a Triumph TR4 like this one when he was shopping for his first car in the late 70s, and was also considering an MGB. In the end he bought neither and went for the practical but still interesting Renault 16.
